SUMMARY:HCTC Hosts School Supply Drive for Hillsborough Education Foundation - July 2022
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to host another school supply drive in support of the Hillsborough Education Foundation throughout the month of July! We have partnered with the Hillsborough Education Foundation on this project since 2006\, supplying a variety of resources to teachers and students all over the county. \nThroughout the month of July\, we are asking our employees and customers to donate school supplies toward this initiative. Our goal is to fill 5 pallets with school supplies that will then be delivered right to the Hillsborough Education Foundation’s Teaching Tools Resource Center. This resource is invaluable to teachers from Title 1 schools throughout Hillsborough County as they prepare for the new school year. \nIn this last school year alone\, the Hillsborough Education foundation distributed 3.9 million dollars in school supplies to support over one hundred thousand students. \nStarting July 1st\, you can help us achieve our goal by bringing school supplies to any of our offices or by making a donation. Bring a non-perishable food item or an unwrapped gift to drop in our donation barrel. We were presented with the Holiday Hero Award for hosting one of the largest drives in Tampa Bay last year! We donated over 3\,400 items. Our goal this year is to have an even bigger drive with at least 4\,000 items. We are collecting for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
