SUMMARY:HCTC Hosts School Supply Drive for Hillsborough Education Foundation - July 2022
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to host another school supply drive in support of the Hillsborough Education Foundation throughout the month of July! We have partnered with the Hillsborough Education Foundation on this project since 2006\, supplying a variety of resources to teachers and students all over the county. \nThroughout the month of July\, we are asking our employees and customers to donate school supplies toward this initiative. Our goal is to fill 5 pallets with school supplies that will then be delivered right to the Hillsborough Education Foundation’s Teaching Tools Resource Center. This resource is invaluable to teachers from Title 1 schools throughout Hillsborough County as they prepare for the new school year. \nIn this last school year alone\, the Hillsborough Education foundation distributed 3.9 million dollars in school supplies to support over one hundred thousand students. \nStarting July 1st\, you can help us achieve our goal by bringing school supplies to any of our offices or by making a donation. Any amount helps\, and we thank you for your support. They must collect 2\,500 units of blood per day to meet the demands in veteran’s & children’s hospitals\, cancer treatment centers\, burn units and major trauma centers around the state. \nOne blood donation can save three lives.
