Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office Will Be Closed for Presidents Day and Staff Training

TAMPA, Fla., February 9, 2026 – The Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed on Presidents Day, Monday, February 16th, for staff training day.

“Ongoing professional development is crucial to maintaining the high standards of service our community deserves,” said Tax Collector Nancy Millan. “This training day represents our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in serving Hillsborough County residents.”

While offices will be closed, residents can still access many services through the Tax Collector’s website at HillsTaxFL.gov, available 24/7.

Available online services include:

  • Renewing vehicle registrations;
  • Paying property taxes;
  • Ordering disabled parking permits;
  • And more.

Self-service registration renewal kiosks are available at select Publix locations throughout Hillsborough County and at MacDill AFB for those with base access.
