Road tests, written tests, and the issuance of driver licenses and learner’s permits will be available by appointment only for Hillsborough County students. Additionally, limited walk-in services will be available for Hillsborough County residents, including title and registration services, disabled parking permits, and certain driver license services such as renewals and address changes.
In partnership with local community organizations, the “Drive Into the School Year” event will also offer free services during the event. These include hearing exams, sports physicals, dental services, and more. Special thanks to our community partners for their generous support: Tampa Family Health Centers, Vital Health Concierge, and Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation of Florida.
The “Drive Into the School Year” event is an extension of the successful Student Saturdays events held during the school year. The Tax Collector’s Office is expanding this initiative to create an even bigger and more impactful event, ensuring that students and families have everything they need to start the school year off right.
