Note: The Tax Collector’s Office does not receive any part of the convenience fee.
You can send in your payment through the mail or overnight mail. When paying by check or money order, please make it payable in US funds to Nancy C. Millan, Tax Collector.
Drop boxes are available 24/7 at most of our branches for your convenience. We accept checks or money orders only. Cash is not accepted. Make checks or money orders payable in US funds to Nancy C. Millan, Tax Collector.

Pay current property taxes directly through your financial institution.
- Contact your financial institution for instructions.
- Include your account number (located in the upper left corner of your tax notice) when scheduling payment.
To ensure payment is applied by due date, schedule your electronic bill payment at least 5 business days before actual payment due date.
Property Tax payment plans are available for those who meet the requirements.
If you have multiple accounts (property tax bills) and would like to make one electronic payment, the Multiple Bill Payment option is for you!
In order to provide you with a convenient and efficient payment solution for your current property taxes, we partnered with Grant Street Group to utilize EscrowExpress® for the upcoming real estate and tangible personal property tax collection cycle.
EscrowExpress® streamlines the bulk-payment process while eliminating additional costs associated with the issuance of paper checks, and other expenses such as postage and express-mail delivery services. There is a nominal processing fee of $0.50 per account paid by you on the EscrowExpress® site for Hillsborough County parcels. Additionally, collection and remittance of this fee is handled directly between you and Grant Street Group and is not remitted to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office. In the event of an error, the $0.50 processing fee per account is non-refundable.
To participate in the multiple bill payment remittance process for property taxes contact the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Quality Assurance Department through our online contact form (select “Quality Assurance” in the “Service of Interest” section). Please include the following information in your email:

Upon receiving your email request, the Quality Assurance Department will provide you with your multiple payment code. You will then need to contact Grant Street Group to establish your EscrowExpress account at https://escrow.taxsys.net/tcb/app/main/login.
If you utilize a servicing agent, please contact them prior to registering as your servicing agent may have already registered for you. Customers opting to use this payment method may start building their list of accounts as early as October 1st. This option is available through March.
For your convenience property tax payments may be wired to our banking institution. However, this does not apply to certificate buyer deposits.
To wire funds, complete the Wire Transfer Form (PDF) and send it through our online contact form (select “Wire Transfer” in the “Service of Interest” section).
You can also fax it to (813) 635-5281. Contact your bank directly and provide them with the information included in the wire transfer form.

To provide the taxpayers of Hillsborough County with a more convenient and efficient tax payment solution, the Tax Collector’s office offers a new payment process, Escrow Express. With this new payment process, escrow or mortgage companies and tax paying agents will be able to simply go online to download their account files and the entire tax roll and then upload their request files and payment files.
In an effort to provide you and our mutual customers with a convenient and efficient property tax payment solution, the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office have partnered with Grant Street Group to utilize Escrow Express® for the upcoming real estate and tangible personal property tax collection cycle. You will be able to download the tax roll, submit request files and submit payment files via the web. If you are responsible for remitting property tax payments for 10 or more accounts to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office, it is required that you do so using Escrow Express®. The only exceptions to this policy are for parcels that are in a bankruptcy or tax deed foreclosure status.
We anticipate that use of this web-based property tax payment solution will benefit our collective property tax payment processes and customers by expediting the return of overpayments to you for your escrowed mortgage accounts as well as reducing the number of erroneous payments remitted.
Important Registration Information
Before you will be able to use the site, you will need to either obtain your new mortgage code or confirm your existing mortgage code with the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office. To do so, please send the following information to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Quality Assurance Department through our online contact form (select “Quality Assurance” in the “Service of Interest” section):

Upon receiving your email request, the Quality Assurance Department will provide you with your mortgage code. You will then need to contact Grant Street Group to establish your Escrow Express® Account.
Please note, customers utilizing this method may begin building their list of accounts as early as October 1st. This option is available through March. If, after you have obtained your mortgage code, you should need to update the mortgage company information such as the contact name, mailing address, phone number, fax number or email address, please send your request to our Quality Assurance Department through our online contact form (select “Quality Assurance” in the “Service of Interest” section).
Please note there is a nominal fee of $0.50 per account paid by you on the Escrow Express® site for Hillsborough County parcels. Fees for payments made in error will not be refunded. Additionally, collection and remittance of this fee is handled directly between you and Grant Street Group and is not remitted to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office.
