How to pay

Our kiosks are equipped for cashless transactions. We accept credit and debit cards exclusively. Please be advised that only one payment method is permitted per transaction.

Fees

In addition to your renewal cost, there is a 2.25% fee for credit or debit payments.

When to renew

You can renew at a kiosk any time, from three months early to 8 months after your expiration date. If your registration has expired, a late fee will be added.

What Types of registrations can be renewed?

You can use a kiosk to renew personal automobiles, pickup trucks, motorcycles, utility trailers, and camper trailers. It will NOT renew a mobile home or vessel/boat. If your license plate is being replaced, you cannot renew using the kiosk. The kiosk will print out a receipt with message indicating that it was unable to process along with the reason.

What if I need proof of auto insurance?

Please wait 2-4 days after updating your auto insurance to renew at the kiosk. This allows time for your insurance to provide updated information to our statewide vehicle registration system. The kiosk cannot accept paper proof. Your renewal will indicate if you need proof of insurance.

Can the kiosk do other transactions?

No, the kiosk will only process a renewal. It cannot issue replacements or change the name or address on your motor vehicle registration. Please visit your local Motor Vehicle office for this service.
